Testing athletes' strength and power in the tradition of the Scottish Highland Games Nine traditional events include stone-throwing, weight tossing, hammer-throwing, caber turning and sheaf tossing.

Pipe and Drum

The music of the bagpipe virtually symbolizes music at the Highland Games.  Listen as bands and soloists warm up all around McPherson's Lakeside Park. Close your eyes and imagine you're in Scotland.

Highland Dance

Relax in the shade of the Highland tent and marvel as the agile dancers spring high above the stage.
